Sarah
It seemed like Sarah was just automatically integrated into our family one day. She started babysitting the boys and before I knew it, she was a very huge and important part in their lives. She was almost like their 2nd mother. We lived with Sarah and her parents for a while when I worked for Charles and Anna and also worked at UPS at night.
I would go to work about 8pm, come back to Randy and Mary’s house (Sarah’s parents) about 2am and pick up the boys. I got them into my car, took them up the stairs to my apartment and then try to get some sleep before they woke up in the morning. I also had regular times that I needed to check on Charles and make meals for Charles and Anna.
I don’t think I could possibly juggle all of that now, but back then I had all the energy in the world.
After a few months of doing both jobs, Charles insisted on paying me a bit more so that I didn’t have to work for UPS also and could just work for them. I was so grateful.
